This notice explains the information collected when you request a business energy renewal check.

Last updated 18 September 2026

Key point

We use the information to respond to your request

Business-Energy.org records the business, supply and contact details you submit so the request can be reviewed and, where appropriate, shared with Love Energy Savings to discuss business energy prices.

Only information relevant to the requested service should be collected.

Information we collect

We collect the premises postcode and address, business name, supply type, contract position, optional usage or spend information, your name, business email and phone number. We also record the page and campaign that led to the request, the wording you agreed to and the submission time.

How the information is used

The information is used to qualify and respond to your requested business energy enquiry, prevent duplicate or invalid enquiries, measure the performance of our pages and create an audit record of the request. If you separately choose market updates, that preference is recorded independently.

Sharing with Love Energy Savings

Your quote-request information may be shared with Love Energy Savings so they can contact you about business electricity or gas prices. They will handle information they receive under their own privacy terms. We do not sell the submitted information to unrelated marketing lists.

Retention and your choices

Quote enquiries are retained only as long as needed to administer the enquiry, reconcile the commercial introduction, handle complaints and meet legal or accounting obligations. You can ask to access, correct or delete information, subject to any information we must retain. Business contact details will be added to this notice before broader promotional use begins.
